Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Blacksmith, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
