History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Simon never married again. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Thomas hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Healer, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
