He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Knight.
