When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He wears a green coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He carries with him a set of rapiers on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hugh's homeland. Hugh decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his bastard sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born in the east. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'1". He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his pickaxe, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. His hair is red and curly. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson grey hat.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He got into the Bellfounder business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Bellfounder. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
