History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He got into the Barber business at a young age. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
