Personality: Simon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Simon was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
