History: Richard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs. His hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small green hat.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
