Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Conrad reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Alexandre began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a white vest and prefers brown and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family
