History: The child of a Server, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
