History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Simon never married again. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister
