History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the east to a Masseuse, Dustin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Masseuse work with an outfit from a few towns over. Masseuse work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Carter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he is unsatisfied with his job
