History: Born in the north to a Bather, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.
