Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is dressed in earthy colors with a green and yellow handkerchief worn on his left side. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: An older man who sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He prefers to wear flannel. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Charles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has money and likes to spend it
