Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His golden hair is braided into rings. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Roland was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spice Merchant. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His tied-back hair is black. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born in the south to a Guard, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His head has been shaved. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and money/treasure

Description: 5'2" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister
