Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A true patriot, Alex would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mayor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mayor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This light-skinned male wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This man wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Anselm was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Anselm's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. After coming to the age of reason, Adam took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality
