He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born in the west to a Stableman, Ernest learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born in the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
