He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Ruler, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.
