History: He was raised in a forest tribe. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy

Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
