Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ploughman profession.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Anselm was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Reynard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He's also a talented Seamstress, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mortician born in the past three hundred years. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He worked as a nervous Tailor and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to be a sailor again
