Personality: Jocelyn hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Through the years after Theodoric was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Everard was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
