Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Solomon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
