History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Crown-heir profession.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and expand his business

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Shane's homeland. Shane decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Performer for the past few years.
