History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Kody was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lewis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by drow. He worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
