History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A middle-aged man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and is pretty ugly. He has shaved his head bald. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Ernest took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
