History: Born in the east to a Knight, Everard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
