History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
