When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Percival Graeme, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears long strands of topaz and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He wears his white hair down. His eyes are amber.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Percival is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
Ideals: Fighting, Justice. Flaws: Disease, Insomniac. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Mortician
Voice: Speaks fast with a slight lisp

Gunter Gresham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears tattered old clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He is baby faced.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Jeweler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Jeweler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult
Ideals: Persistence, Joker. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Religious, Job. Occupation: Jeweler
