History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed shortspear, just in case. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is content

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Interpreter again.
