History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Ernest began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Anthony alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
