History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
