History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Theobald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
