His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
