Personality: He is fixated on the number 28. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, white shirt, and pastel tie. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His ears are large.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Adventurer. Lance enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lance was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
