Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Arnold wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Arnold liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
