History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Frederick was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and many dire rats want him driven away
