Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the east to a Bather, Adam learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Adam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adam never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Gardener. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
