Description: He dresses like a well dressed Cartwright does, and carries pickaxes. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anthony was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This man is very fat, and has the majority of his body covered in plate. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and money/treasure
