Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering his clean studded leather. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his small tan hat.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: To be a Miller again; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His green eyes peer out from beneath his top grey hat.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
