He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. John was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
