Description: An older man who is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Arnold was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He carries with him a set of shields, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He wears a brown vest and prefers white and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He carries a battered shortbow and tarnished falchion as well. He wears his golden hair down. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

Description: This tall, slender man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a very tight haircut. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and revenge

Description: He dresses in violet turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with tan slacks. His hair is chestnut and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to share knowledge with the world
