Description: This late middle aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times and is in decent physical shape. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south to a Marshal, Patrick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears professional attire. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a great chef.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Engraver soon after.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult
