History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
