Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Tim took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Jocelyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. Jocelyn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
