History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Lance was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
