History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Simon abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Kody was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
