History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Theobald was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: Manfred was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Baker for hire.
