Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. A true patriot, Lance would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lance was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His tied-back hair is white. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he very much looks the part of a Baker. His golden hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has achieved small success as a Baker.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against gnolls
