History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Reynard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
