Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Adelard was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mason. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
