Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kyle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Dustin hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He prefers to carry a glaive, but if one is not available he will default to his ceremonial dagger. He wears his auburn hair down. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
